Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor welcomes Mistie DuPreez to the team

On January 5, Mistie DuPreez joined Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor as its new business office coordinator. Prior to joining PMMA, Mistie gained extensive experience working in assisted living communities throughout Kansas and Oklahoma—most recently in Ponca City, Okla.

In her new position, Mistie manages the financial and business aspects of the community, specifically accounts payable/receivable as well as any other billing or accounting issues residents or their families may have.

However, Mistie is quick to point out that, beyond her official duties, she’s always available to lend a helping hand.

“I’m always happy to help out wherever I can,” said Mistie. 

Besides her day-to-day work, Mistie says that the thing she has enjoyed most about her new position has simply been getting to know the people of the community.

“I enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories and seeing the new faces,” said Mistie.

Mom to two daughters—one in nursing school and one soon to be—as well as a son who studies music in Weatherford, Okla., Mistie is originally from Tonkawa, Okla. and enjoys getting back to the family farm as much as possible.
